Meet Our Staff
Patricia Groves: Owner
For five years prior to starting Dance Rhythms, she taught at Westview Dance Academy. In the past, Miss Trisch has taught preschool and children's gymnastics, tap, jazz, and ballet; as well as the adult tap and jazz students at Dance Rhythms. Although now retired from teaching, she owns & operates the studio.

Natalie Sweeney: Competition Team Director & Instructor
Miss Natalie started dancing at age 3 and has competed in many regional and national competitions. During the day, she also works with children as a literature coach for South-Western City Schools.

Kathy Bartelt: Instructor

Kimberly Beyleveld: Instructor
Miss Kimberly started dancing at an early age, and after many years of training and competing at the regional and national levels, she became an assistant teacher for a few years before teaching on her own. Kimberly recently graduated from the Mt. Carmel College of Nursing!

Lauren Buck: Instructor
Miss Lauren began taking dance lessons at age 4. She took dance for numerous years and competed at the regional and national level.

Melissa Cox: Instructor
Miss Melissa started dancing at age 3 and has competed in many regional and national competitions. During the week, Melissa is a first grade teacher for the South-Western City School district.

Cindy Ebbinghaus: Instructor
Miss Cindy has been taking dance lessons herself from the age of five and started teaching dance at age 17. During the week, Miss Cindy can be found working as a beautician.

Diana Good: Front Desk Manager
Miss Diana helps run the front desk at the studio. You can find her answering phone calls, collecting payments, and keeping our books up to date.

April Frasure: Instructor
Miss April has taught at Dance Rhythms since the beginning. She has taught all age groups and competition levels over the years. She previously taught at Westview Dance Academy.

Taylor Frasure: Instructor & Asst. Competition Director
Miss Taylor started her dance training at DRS when she was only three years old. As a competitive dancer, Taylor has won numerous regional and national awards and scholarships. She has received training in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, acrobatics, pointe, modern, contemporary, and choreography. Her choreography has been recognized at the regional and national levels. She graduated in 2021 from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Special Education and Dance. During the week, Taylor is an Intervention Specialist in South Western City Schools.

Courtney Frederick: Instructor
Miss Courtney began taking dance lessons at the age of 3. She took dance for numerous years and competed at the regional and national level.

Shelley Hutchinson: Instructor
Miss Shelley has been dancing since the age of five and teaching dance since age 18. She has been with Dance Rhythms since the very beginning. Miss Shelley team teaches with Miss Cindy and helps out at the studio when needed.

Kimberly McCalmont: Instructor
Miss Kimberly started dancing at the age of 3 at South Dayton School of Dance, joining their pre-professional company, South Dayton Dance Theatre, at the age of 11. She has trained in many dance styles; including ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and tap. Through SDDT, she has performed in The Nutcracker, Regional Dance America ballet festivals, and many studio recitals. Kimberly is a 2019 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, with degrees in Dance and Genetics.

Alyson Townsend: Instructor
Miss Alyson began dancing at age 2 1/2, and took part in her first dance competition at age 3! During the week, she teaches Kindergarten in the South-Western City School district.
